Last week a brand-new dining plan was announced for Resort hotel guests and the panel could not be more excited about Disney Dining Plan Plus. The new plan, which offers more flexibility in dining options, gives guests two meals per night of their package stay to redeem at either Table-Service restaurants, Quick-Service locations, character dining experiences, or a combination. With the new plan guests also received two snacks per night and one Resort-Refillable Drink Mug (mugs are eligible for refills from full-service beverage islands at any Disney Resort Hotel Quick-Service location.) Meals can be redeemed in any order and in any combination. Unused meals and snacks rollover day to day so you can use them whenever you want during your stay.
For Thiana, this new dining plan option could not have come at a better time as she is going to be upgrading to this plan for her upcoming trip.
“We love Table-Service restaurants, but always felt like the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan was too much food for us, so with that said, the Disney Dining plan has always been our choice. We really enjoy sitting down and eating at restaurants, it’s a great way to take a break and relax. Yes, we are the family that loves a quiet meal! We also usually use snack credits for breakfast, so this plan is absolutely perfect for my family!”
Allyn never plans a Walt Disney World Resort vacation without a dining plan and is excited to tell others about the new option. She reminds guests that if you are interested in modifying your current Disney Dining Plan, please call the Disney Reservations Center at 407-WDW-Disney to speak to an agent.
“Disney Dining Plan Plus will allow my family to have a Character meal for breakfast that will keep us full until a table-service dinner. It will also be an excellent option for my family as it would not only reduce the amount we spend out of pocket, we typically do buy an extra meal with our current dining plan option, but give us more uninterrupted park time since we won’t have to stop for lunch. I can’t wait to try it out on an upcoming long weekend trip!” exclaims Sarah.
Donyell seconds the thought of enjoying a bigger breakfast with the new plan, while saving money too!
“My family loves to eat big in the morning and evening so we started using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan to make sure we had enough table-service options. With the Disney Dining Plan Plus, we can still enjoy a character breakfast and a fabulous dinner while using our snack entitlements to recharge in the middle of the day. And we can save a little money! Since we are always on a budget, this plan will be perfect for us, especially as we make those pre-park opening dining reservations and make plans to end our days sharing a meal with galactic tales of the day’s adventures!”
