Last night during our live stream of the “Candlelight Processional” – which you can watch on replay now – we asked our viewers to submit pics of their family’s favorite Disney Parks ornament and the stories behind them.
We never anticipated the overflow of pictures we received, with many viewers sharing photos of special Disney Parks ornaments that commemorated unforgettable vacations and special life milestones. Some viewers even submitted pics of entire Disney-themed trees!
Here are a few of our favorites!
Check this out DIY fans! Jennifer made her own garland out of MagicBands from previous Walt Disney World Resort vacations! What a great way to commemorate a trip. And check out that Monorail, which travels through Epcot and Disney’s Contemporary Resort! And I spy Kermit, Miss Piggy and Fozzie from “The Muppet Christmas Carol” at the base of the tree. How fun!
Elizabeth’s tree features what she describes as an “awkward family reunion” between Kylo Ren, Han Solo and Princess Leia. But on a more sentimental note, she shared that the Winnie the Pooh ornament, originally purchased by her own Dad, is family heirloom at nearly 50 years old! Her tree also features a “Jungle Book” bell, Winnie the Pooh, Simba and more!
Chris has a very merry Disney scene surrounding his Disney-themed tree. I spy Mickey and Minnie singing Christmas carols, and a few Disney Princesses, including Merida, Anna and Rapunzel, classic characters, and our Muppet friend Fozzie enjoying the snow below.
Anthony has a Disney-themed tree that is sure to make our runDisney friends happy: not only is it festooned with Disney ornaments, but it’s also flanked with medals from Anthony’s past runDisney races! The tree itself boasts Star Wars favorites like R2D2, Yoda and a Stormtrooper – plus a new addition to the Disney Pixar family – Forky!
Mirah shared this photo, which is a Disney tree from tree skirt to tree topper! This colorful extravaganza features a plethora of Disney ornaments, including the brand-new Disney Skyliner ornament, a Cinderella shoe, Hitchhiking Ghosts, Ursula, Winnie the Pooh, a Mickey photo frame, an Epcot International Festival of the Arts ornament and many more.
