The Disneyland Resort recently welcomed voice actor Ken Page – the haunting voice behind the iconic Oogie Boogie from Walt Disney Pictures classic “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” The timing of his visit was perfect as we’re in the midst of celebrating Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! We caught up with Ken before he headed into the parks – check out the video below:
If you are a fan of Oogie Boogie, here’s where you can encounter the boogie man himself at the Disneyland Resort:
- At Disneyland park, you can catch a glimpse of Oogie Boogie in Haunted Mansion Holiday. The seasonal attraction celebrates the collision between Halloween and Christmas as Jack Skellington offers his unique take on the holidays. Oogie Boogie also makes an appearance during the supernatural projection and special effects show, “Halloween Screams.” This nighttime spectacular, which is available for all guests visiting Disneyland park, goes sky high on weekends as the show is enhanced with fireworks.
- Oogie Boogie also beckons guests as his oversized silhouette looms above the main entrance of Disney California Adventure park. His spooky presence can also be felt along Buena Vista Street and seen projected on the façade of Carthay Circle in the evenings.
- Guests visiting Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa can oooh and ahhh at the confectionary masterpiece in the lobby where Oogie Boogie takes shape in a delicious display!
- Lastly, Oogie Boogie of course has a presence at the new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. This all-new, separate ticket event takes place on select evenings at Disney California Adventure park. Oogie Boogie has cast his spell and has summoned the Disney villains to scare up some thrilling surprises — from immersive treat trails to the new “World of Color” show “Villainous!”
